Filmmaker Omung Kumar's 'Sarbjit', based on an Indian farmer's life by the same name who was imprisoned in a Pakistan jail after he was accused of being a spy, is set to premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival on May 15. The heart-wrenching biopic, which traces his sister Dalbir Kaur's 23-year-old struggle for his freedom, features Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumar.
Aishwarya, who has been a popular face at the festival for the last 15 years, will walk the red carpet tomorrow with Omung and producers Bhushan Kumar, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Sandeep Singh.
